Acupuncture at Mend Health Co. is an integrative, neuromuscular-led approach designed to restore whole-body function and optimize human performance.

Each session begins with a systematic evaluation of movement, muscle function, and how the body is adapting to both physical and internal stressors. Treatment is then strategically prioritized using a combination of motor point activation, electroacupuncture, and traditional channel-based techniques to influence both the local tissue and the broader system.

Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, this approach recognizes how the body moves, adapts, compensates, and regulates as a connected network. By working locally and distally — structurally and systemically — treatment helps restore efficiency, reduce recurring tension, improve resilience, and support lasting results beyond the treatment room.

Hi, I’m Krysten! I graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, where I developed a systemic approach to supporting the body’s natural balance - restoring function, calming the nervous system, and encouraging long-term wellness.

My own journey through injury and recovery sparked a deep interest in how the body responds on a neuro physical level. This experience has shaped my unique treatment style, where I like to integrate movement with hands-on techniques that engage the body’s interconnected structures: fascia, joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments to restore mobility, release tension, and help the body return to its natural state of balance.

Whether you’re recovering from injury, managing chronic pain, easing everyday aches, reducing stress, or simply maintaining your body for the Sea to Sky lifestyle, I’m here to support you in reaching your goals.

Britt began her career as an RMT before training in acupuncture, where her work evolved toward an anatomy-based, neuromuscular approach to care — with a focus on how the body moves and compensates to restore function, reduce pain, and support long-term resilience.

Her work centers on orthopedic acupuncture guided by hands-on assessment and movement-based evaluation. Treatment may include dry needling, motor point stimulation, and electroacupuncture to influence how muscles, joints, connective tissue, and the nervous system interact.

With over a decade of clinical experience, Britt is the owner of Mend Health Co., assists in advanced sports acupuncture and dry needling seminars, and mentors other practitioners while staying grounded in ongoing clinical education.

When working with Britt, expect active assessment, targeted hands-on treatment, and time for integration — helping you feel more capable and at ease in your body.
